Ilene Bergelson, BFA, ACSM-HFI, ACE-CPT, CHEK Level 2 Practitioner, CHEK-HLC 1, has 20 years of cumulative teaching experience giving master classes on various forms of movement as well as educational intensives throughout the United States. Her fitness education company, Lifemoves, is based in New York City.

Ilene is a regular continuing education provider for Equinox Fitness Clubs and a member of several faculties including Clay Fitness Training Institute, Sky-Fitness & Wellbeing and Esquerre Fitness Group. Her unique perspective on prenatal and postpartum fitness has prompted invitations to speak throughout the U.S. and the writing of several articles. Ilene has lectured for ECA and Club Industry, and she has written for several publications including Club Success magazine. In addition to workshops and one on one coaching sessions, Ilene maintains a private training practice in New York. She consults for the fitness community and develops transitional programs in conjunction with medical practitioners for post-rehab and paranatal clientele.

I thought it was great. I deal with clients every day that have weaknesses on one side vs the other (as we all do) and the information you provided will really help me continue to change the vocabulary and bring a sense of humor to the situation. thanks!
