Paul Haslam holds a degree in Physical Education and more recently completed a Sports Science degree at UNSW. He lectures for the University of Technology (Sydney) in the Human Movement course and the University of NSW in the Sports Science course. He also presents the at the Fitness Institute of Australia and Pumping Iron resistance training workshops.

He has worked as Strength Coach and Assistant Conditioner in Rugby League, as well as private training of athletes at all levels of competition and was actively involved in Darren Clark's track & field coaching clinics.

He is a former Olympic Lifting champion and two time Mr. Australia, has been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years.
