In regards to the question I do believe they can work. My sister has Graves Disease which if you are not familiar is a thyroid autoimmune disease. She was a young, healthy and fit person but she became highly medicated as the disease progressed quickly. Her doctors wanted to radiate her thyroid to kill it. Being the healthy person she was she started to investigate other options. She turned to the Eat Right for your Blood Type Diet, keep in mind she didn't have to change much as she was a very good eater, she did loose a few pounds but since following the diet for the last 13 years she has never taken any medications. I'm not saying it will work for everyone but it does work for some. She was one of the lucky ones.
