Thank you for your response Lucian. In these interviews we often only capture a sound byte. I think that Bill was just using program design as one example to illustrate his point - being that it is for us to discover the principles that support every practice we employ. He was imploring us not to be satisfied with answers alone but explore how we arrive at them.
In the program design section of the site we have articles and audio's by subject matter experts such as Paul Chek, Rob Orr, Noah Hittner, Stuart McGill, Mike Boyle, Mel Siff, Greg Roskopf and many other author's who can provide a comprehensive journey through various philosophies and practical applications of program design.
